Founded July 2021 and headquartered in County Clare, Ireland, Genius Juniors Books Ltd operates an online children’s bookshop delivering educational and diverse resources across the country.

Led by educator and paediatric expert Dr Christina McDonnell (@dr.christina_geniusjuniors), the mission is clear: to broaden access to engaging, inclusive, and values-driven books while also supporting Irish children’s hospitals and schools.

Orders for Genius Juniors originally came in through direct messages (DMs) on social media—a method that worked in the very beginning when things were small and personal. At that stage, each message was a chance to connect directly with parents, teachers, and caregivers who were looking for thoughtful books.
