What is Find My Grant?

Find My Grant was created to solve a common problem faced by Irish businesses: navigating the complex landscape of grants, supports, and funding opportunities available across various government agencies and organizations.

Their mission is to simplify the funding discovery process for Irish businesses of all sizes. They bring together information from Enterprise Ireland, Local Enterprise Offices, Údarás na Gaeltachta, Skillnet Ireland, and many other funding bodies into one user-friendly platform.

Challenges For Find My Grant

FindMyGrant was preparing to launch a new digital platform to help users discover grants and funding opportunities in Ireland. Despite a promising business model and a newly developed site, they faced several key challenges:

  • Lack of Search Engine Visibility: No initial setup for SEO or search engine tools meant FindMyGrant was virtually invisible to potential users.
  • Incomplete Website Configuration: Vital components like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Bing Webmaster Tools were not set up.
  • Content Deficiencies: Homepage and key site areas lacked optimized content, meta descriptions, and alt tags for images.
  • Technical SEO Issues: Pages such as Privacy Policy and Terms of Service looped back to the homepage. The site lacked structured data (schema markup).

CMOmojo's Approach To Find My Grant's SEO

Google Suite Setup

We created a dedicated Google account, verified website ownership via Hostinger, and fully integrated Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console into the site. Google Site Kit was also enabled to provide real-time analytics within the WordPress dashboard.


Cross-Search Engine Integration

Bing Webmaster Tools was configured, and all relevant data was imported from Google Search Console to extend search visibility beyond Google.


SEO Platform Implementation

We installed and fully configured All-In-One SEO, setting up search appearance preferences, verifying webmaster settings, submitting an up-to-date sitemap, and laying the groundwork for structured data.


Technical Cleanup

We identified blog pages that were unintentionally live and indexed, coordinated the correction of broken internal links and page loop issues, initiated schema markup implementation for interactive tools, and evaluated the site’s readiness for potential AdSense integration.


Content Strategy Kickoff

We identified content gaps on the homepage, outlined a plan for meta descriptions and image alt tags, and began keyword and SERP research to guide the development of SEO-optimized content.
